Part of the project to distill the soundtrack of HEAT DOZENS (a video poam available in the Limited Fork podcast) into some of its composite sonic constituents. This unit of composite sonic constituency focuses on the "Elements of Damage" isolate. Part of the project to distill the soundtrack of HEAT DOZENS (a video poam available in the Limited Fork podcast) into some of its composite sonic constituents. This unit of composite sonic constituency focuses on the "Elements of Damage" isolate. The designation of "damage" for this isolate may depend in part upon the cooperation of visual damage cues, and feedback loops between the sound and the visual to reinforce a "damage" contract (which may be broken or strengthened in a number of ways, by either partner or by other arriving parties). Even if this sonic isolate retains an association with damage based upon sonic elements only, the nature of the damage may be perceived differently without the corroboration of visual damage to help define intensity and duration of damage.
